Planting a church is always a step of faith! Church planting can take many forms. One method involves parachuting in to a new area and beginning a new work from scratch. Another method is the process of planting a church out of the ministry of an existing church. There are a multitude of models and methods but all involve a desire to fulfill the great commission and to step out in faith.

The UPCI has identified processes that facilitate the likelihood of success for new churches. In Kansas we call this the "Church Planting Pathway". It involves four primary steps.

1. Evangelism and Outreach Extension

2. Preaching Point

3. Daughter Work

4. North American Missions Status
